Wax Routine 06:04
wax routine orange ripens on the indigo horizon scrawled in white chalk blurred with hands framed by the hollow cutout above the sink faucet during intermittent dripping black-scented that awakens the eyes from darkness and delimits what is inside and what's out there and points out what makes us  broken i go out just like  a silent Icarus i'm sure  it's all about taking risks again

Smoking Fish 02:37

our pale faces that was a typical spring, full of storms and urges all we wanted was to amplify our hearts so much noise for nothing 'cause the silence could be worse we met to fill our voids we will never be again as we were our pale faces under thousands of flowers we will never be again as we were just a simple portrait for the last hour (we will never be again as we were) we had our heart on shaky hands (we will never be again as we were) we were blindfolded youngmen at the shore (we will never be again as we were) it was the closest we got to the ether (we will never be again as we were) it was our riot in the eye that storm there is no distance to spaces that overflow with memory the days die right after their moment of brightness maybe that's why we stop seeing each other easily maybe that's why we're fading in time we will never be again as we were our pale faces under thousands of flowers we will never be again as we were just a simple portrait for the last hour

Washed Mask 06:04
washed mask now i can just stare into your eyes like a fillable void now i can just stay in your eyes like at a stopping point now i can feel what you can offer as a fair deal before you return to your belly button before you don't do it anymore and I can forget the vulgar matter that makes up your face and I can forgive all the misery of your lack of grace now i can feel what you can offer as a fair deal before you return to your belly button before you don't do it anymore two long steps back so you can move on  (the will is just a longing) that distance is  what makes us closer (the will is just a longing) now i can just stare into your eyes like a fillable void  now i can just stay in your eyes like at a stopping point now i can feel what you can offer as a fair deal before you return to your belly button before you don't do it anymore two long steps back so you can move on  (the will is just a longing) that distance is  what makes us closer (the will is just a longing) as deadly as man  who dropped the mask (the will is just a longing)

atlantic goliath grouper i like to watch sad movies on tv 'cos I have an easy time with tears the hard life as it goes, i know  it's a comfort that i can do something  uncomplicated for me i wanna meet the old giant fish that I never saw and i wanna look at him  right in the eyes to say and listen to all the silence I can i need to deepen this short and weak breath in search of the missing rare oxygen i need to get out of the shallows of life jumpin' off that suspension bridge  to let my body sink i wanna meet the old giant fish that I never saw and i wanna look at him  right in the eyes to say and listen to all the silence I can i wanna go back to the surface to swim towards the tired boat that stranded ghost corroded by  the cutting rust of time

about

nada_no is a project developed by Nilton de Q with the sole purpose of recording authorial songs that tend to exist only digitally, excluding any possibility of being materialized in live performances.

Nilton de Q was a guitar player for the band Thousands of Flowers, which was part of the indie/underground scene of Baixada Santista (central coast of São Paulo in Southeastern Brazil) in the first half of the 1990s.

After a hiatus of just over ten years, already living in Florianópolis (in Southern Brazil), he started composing again and came up with the idea of recording songs digitally.

Between 2007 and 2010, he released songs on MySpace under the nickname Baldanders, and later GRAVASTAR. During this period, he put on the air something close to fifteen songs and, afterwards, he went into “hibernation” again.

Another ten-year hiatus and he now comes up with nada_no and a set of ten songs, recorded between July and November 2020, which make up the digital album entitled Clouds.
